I grew up in Danbury and lived there from 1967-79. My interest in the fire service started with DFD and long before I was a volunteer at Phoenix Hose Engine 8 I was sitting with the Dispatchers and fascinated with what they did. I've now been in the fire dispatcher business for 22 years. Love the historic photos.
