2026 L-801 / DFD Awards Ceremony

The 2026 Local 801 / DFD Awards Ceremony took place on June 13, 2026 at Rogers Park Middle School. In addition to the presentation of numerous Unit Citations to 801 members as well as Commendations to our partner emergency services agencies and several civilians; the ceremony included rank promotions to Fire Chief to Bill Lounsbury, Captain to Sean Peltier & DJ Rickard, Lieutenant to James Babcock & Mark DeGrandis, Deputy Fire Marshal to Paul Perrotti. Dominick Savarese, Gino DeGiorgio, Casey Klaneski, & Tim Carlton were sworn in as DFD firefighters.
