Re: 2007 – CONTRACT PROPOSALS

The present Collective
Bargaining Agreement between Local 801 and the City of Danbury will expires on June 30, 2007; we anticipate starting Contract Negotiations
sometime in February of 2007.
Between May 19, 2006 & May 20, 2006, the Union will be mailing
to each member a Contract Proposal Form, this is your opportunity to make your feelings known as to what changes you
would like to see in the Contract, and the direction you want this Union to pursue during Negotiations.
We have set a closing date
of Friday, September 8, 2006, for
Contract proposals, we are asking each member that once you have completed the
survey to mail them to the address indicated on the form.
After receiving your
feedback we will than tabulated all proposals, a “Special Union Meeting” will be set to go over all the
suggested proposals for the membership to determine the direction they want
this Union to proceed.
