The Union and the City, reached an agreement concerning the situation on the present Dispatcher Vacancy. (see attached)

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
Dispatchers
This agreement is made between The City of Danbury (the "City") and the Danbury Professional Firefighters, Local 801, IAFF (the "Union"). The parties agree as follows:
1) The City and the Union agree to reduce the qualifications for dispatcher from 6 years to three years or certification as a dispatcher.
2) The City will post the position and administer an oral exam. The results of the oral exam will comprise 100% of the test score. The oral exam will be
developed based on the number of applicants that apply for the position.
3) The City and the Union agree that this is a single amendment to the
qualifications and testing procedures for the position of Dispatcher and does not apply to any future exams.
