The Program Review and Investigations Committee will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 1:30 pm room 2D of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. The following bill on Binding Arbitration will be on the agenda:

OPPOSE

H.B. No. 5393 (RAISED) PROGRAM REVIEW AND INVESTIGATIONS. 'AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE LEGISLATIVE PROGRAM REVIEW AND INVESTIGATIONS COMMITTEE RELATING TO BINDING ARBITRATION FOR MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES', to revise statutes relating to municipal binding arbitration in accordance with the recommendations of the program review and investigations committee

The bill makes changes to the process that we are not in favor of nor are supported by any facts in the recently released report on Binding Arbitration issued by the Program Review and Investigations own staff. Click Here to View Talking Points. Click Here To View Program and Review Committee
