UPFFA LEGISLATIVE ALERT – February 17, 2006

The Labor and Public Employees Committee will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 2:00 pm room 2D of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. Two of our bills are scheduled to be heard.

S.B. No. 16 (RAISED) LABOR AND PUBLIC EMPLOYEES. 'AN ACT PROTECTING MUNICIPAL RETIREE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS', to prohibit municipalities from eliminating or diminishing retiree health insurance benefits.
