Re:                  Retirement

Just a reminder to all members, in planning on a retirement date, you should contact the City’s Personnel Department; prior to your retirement date, and request in writing a report as to what benefits you will be entitled to, specifically unused vacation, longevity, stipends, to name a few.

Recently, the Union was made aware of a member who did not receive a benefit, after he was retired.
