Roll Call
Chairman Michael Finn called the meeting to order. In attendance were Commissioner Geraldine George, Chief Examiner John Whitcomb, Dena Diorio, Director of Finance and Personnel, Fire Chief Pete Siecienski, Cathy Skurat, Tax Collector, DMEA President Nancy Lahoud, Wayne Gilbert Regional Director of UPSEU, Lois Johnson, Human Resources Consultant, and City Employees in the DMEA Union.
Minutes of April 19, 2006 meeting
Commissioner George made a motion to accept the previous meeting’s minutes. Chairman Finn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
DMEA Re-classification of Account Clerk II, Tax Collector
Commissioner George made a motion deny the reclassification of the 4 Account Clerks II, in the Tax Collector’s office. Chairman Finn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Fire Dispatcher
Commissioner George made a motion to accept the agreement between the City and Firefighters Union asking for an amendment in the qualifications for the position of Dispatcher. Chairman Finn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Superintendent of Apparatus
Commissioner George made a motion to accept the agreement between the City and the Firefighters Union. Chairman Finn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously
Entry Level Police List
Commissioner George made a motion to dissolve the list and offer the opportunity to any candidate that is remaining on the list to maintain their score and have it carried over to the next list that would be established. Chairman Finn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Public Safety PC/LAN Technician Applicants
Commissioner George made a motion to accept the six qualified applicants to move forward to the oral part of the exam. Chairman Finn seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
